Washington Native Plant Society- The Central Washington Chapter offers native plant-oriented hikes from March through August in Yakima and Kittitas Counties. In the fall and winter months, The WNPS hosts lectures and presentations about local flora.

White Pass Scenic Byway This is a recreational paradise in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. It contains more outdoor recreational opportunities than anywhere else in the South Cascades region.

Chinook Scenic Byway Known as the premiere driving tour in Washington State, this byway travels through Snoqualmie National Forest and Mount Rainier National Park. The byway presents breathtaking scenery plus endless opportunities for outdoor fun and recreation, starting from Enumclaw on the west side, and travelling over the Cascade mountains to the Columbia Plateau.

Yakima Sportsman State Park The park contains about 6 miles of trails, along with abundant wildlife and good fishing opportunities along the Yakima River.
